Course Details

Human trafficking cases are extremely complex and routinely require techniques that balance public safety with the rights of victim-survivors.

This course equips participants with essential skills and strategies for conducting victim-centered interviews and offender-focused investigations. 

The training introduces a trauma-informed approach and innovative, practical techniques that support victims while effectively gathering critical information. Participants also learn to build strong cases that lead to successful prosecutions through thoughtful, strategic investigative practices. 

Cost: This class is free to all Tennessee law enforcement officers through the Tennessee Office of Criminal Justice Programs (OCJP) Violent Crime Intervention Fund.
